Meet Sophie

Sophie Benfold is a rising singer-songwriter and recording artist known for her heartfelt and emotive music. She recently returned with new music, including the single “Stars Above,” which she celebrated as being “out now” and dedicated to her supporters online, showing gratitude for their encouragement even through quieter periods of activity.  

Sophie shares her creative journey across platforms like Instagram,  YouTube and TikTok where she releases original tracks, visuals, and updates with her growing community of fans. Streaming platforms list several of her songs — including “Keeping Me High,” “Be There,” and “I Don’t Give a Damn” — highlighting her range and passion for honest songwriting.

London-based model Sophie began modelling in 2022, building experience across street fashion shoots, catlogue work and collaborations with bespoke indepedent fashion houses and freelance photographers. Known for her natural presence and adaptable style, she enjoys working with photographers, stylists and emerging designers to create modern, exprressive fashion imagery and in keeping with her musical sound journey.

How It Began

Sophie's Story

Back in 2021, I was given the opportunity to sing through Gtown Talents. At first, I thought it was going to be a covers gig, but when I asked if a certain song would be okay, I was told it had to be original music only. I panicked because I’d never written my own songs before, so I reached out to someone I knew from college who produced music. They let me use three tracks to write to, and one of them became “Feel At Night.”

I got to work writing and performing the songs, and after performing them successfully, I suddenly had my very first original song recorded. Once I released it, I realised I’d already taken my first step into music — and from that moment, I knew I didn’t want to stop. That’s where my journey really began.
